2020 Truth In Millage Notices

Here is your opportunity to see what your November Tax Bill may look like.

The Truth In Millage (TRIM) Notice mailed August 24th will provide the 2020 Market Value, Assessed Value and Taxable Value of your property.  It will also show any discounts you are receiving (Homestead, Widow, Widower, Blind, Disability, Low Income Senior, Granny-Flat, Portability, Agriculture Classification, Conservation Easement Classification/Exemption).

Non-Ad Valorem Assessments are also on the notice providing rates for Landfill, Fire, PACE, City Nuisance Abatement and Road Improvements.

If you believe your value is incorrect, you must consult with the Property Appraiser and/or file a Value Adjustment Board Petition by 5pm on Friday, September 18th.

Tax rates for each Taxing District (City, County, School, Water Management Districts) will also be provided along with the meeting information for hearings that will occur to take the final vote on the proposed rates.

If you have questions about the tax rate, please contact the appropriate tax district or attend their advertised meetings.  Note some of these meetings may be via conference calls this year due to COVID-19.
